CONDITIONS GÉNÉRALES DE LOCATION :
1. Introduction
We are delighted to welcome you to La Petite Touche holiday cottage, located in Sérigny (86230), in the heart of the Touraine countryside.
The rental is operated by SASU La Petite Touche, RCS Poitiers 983 636 002, represented by Ms. Prune Olivia Maury-Laribiere.
These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a pleasant, simple, and peaceful stay for everyone.
2. Capacity:
The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 14 people, including children. For safety, comfort, and insurance reasons, this number cannot be exceeded. In the event of an overbooking, the stay cannot be maintained and no refund will be made.
3. Reservation and payment:
The reservation becomes effective after:
- a 50% deposit,
- acceptance of these terms and conditions,
- written confirmation from the owner.
The balance must be paid 15 days before arrival. If the balance is not received, the reservation may be canceled; in this case, the deposit will be forfeited.
4. Security deposit:
A security deposit of €1,500, paid before arrival, is required.
This covers any damage, loss, non-compliance with the rules, or additional cleaning.
The deposit will be returned within 10 days after the accommodation has been checked, less any costs incurred.
In the event of a deduction, an explanatory message will be sent.
5. Cancellation:
> Cancellation by the tenant:
- More than 30 days before arrival: full refund.
- Between 15 and 30 days: 50% of the stay due.
- Less than 15 days: full amount of the stay due.
- No-show: full amount of the stay due.
> Cancellation by the owner: full refund of the sums received or proposal of an equivalent alternative solution.

7. Pets:
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the cottage. This rule is intended to ensure hygiene, comfort, and respect for the premises.
8. Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited inside the cottage.
Please smoke only outside and be sure to use an ashtray.
9. Cleaning:
The cottage must be left in a clean condition.
For stays of 7 days or more, a 3-hour mid-stay cleaning service is included.
We will notify you in advance of the time slot so that everything is straightforward for you.
10. House rules:
To preserve the tranquility of the place:
- no unauthorized parties,
- respect for the neighborhood and common areas,
- no excessive noise,
- furniture should not be moved without necessity.
In case of a problem, we always prefer to discuss it in order to find the best solution together.
11. Swimming pool — rules of use:
The swimming pool is available for use on sunny days.
To ensure everyone's safety, a few simple rules apply:
Safety:
Children remain the sole responsibility of their parents.
The swimming pool is not supervised.
Adults must actively supervise children.
Rules to follow:
- Do not run around the pool.
- No diving or dangerous jumps.
- No glass objects around the pool.
- Reactivate the alarm when leaving the pool.
Bath towels must remain in the bathrooms: fouta towels are provided for the pool.
Please follow these rules to keep this space pleasant and safe.
12. Towels and linen:
Bathroom towels must remain indoors.
Towels/foutas suitable for the pool are provided.
13. Outdoor areas available:
During your stay, you are free to enjoy:
- the swimming pool,
- the pool house for outdoor dining,
- the terrace in front of the house,
- the outdoor kitchen with plancha grill,
- the pétanque court,
- the open and secure green spaces around the cottage.
These areas are shared only among members of your group.
14. Internet:
Wi-Fi access is available free of charge.
Please use it in accordance with the legislation in force.
15. Insurance:
We strongly recommend that your stay be covered by holiday insurance.
16. Disputes:
In the event of a disagreement, we always favor dialogue.
Failing that, the competent jurisdiction is that of Poitiers.
17. Acceptance:
The reservation implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Rental Conditions.
